One of our missions is to give you consistent information about dining in Saigon. When it comes to French cuisine, it can be difficult to know where to go. People do love French cuisine but don’t much about it or there are no many places that they don’t really know where to go.
The Mach House is surely a great address to go if your desire is to have French food for lunch or dinner. The place is first of all a fashion boutique on the ground floor and a restaurant on the first floor. Beside the French food restaurant and the shop, The Mach House is also a Vietnamese coffee brand. You might think it is weird that the smell of the food waves all over the shop but at the end it is just super convivial.
The restaurants has few tables on hair chairs or sofas, and it is mostly visited by foreigners customers. The menu is in both English and French and offers traditional french dishes such as duck confit, cassoulet or seared lamb chops. In term of price, a main course costs roughly a bit less than 300,000 VND. Desserts are around 100,000 VND. Of course they have a good wine list, you can either order a bottle or a wine by glass. It is a non smoking restaurant and there is no balcony or terrace.
