Knick Knack is the newest place for Tapas in town. Located on 24Bis Dong Du street in district 1, you will find the place at the very end of an alley. The place has a large bar on the ground floor to serve cocktails and other drinks, a second floor with tables and chair which is perfect for lunch and dinner, and a rooftop to enjoy music on Friday evening along with drinks and Tapas. They offer a set-lunch at 190,000 VND++ including one small starter, a main course and a drink. The food is really great and its good value for money.

Octo Tapas Restobar is the best place in town for tapas. The place is very cool, nice, modern and quite fancy. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the cooking show from the bar. Everything on the menu is just amazing, you can pick anything, you wont be disappointed. The Pulpo a l’OCTO is tender and well cooked, the ceviche is tasty and fresh and the jambon Iberico de Bellota is a must try! Tapas starts at 120,000 VND to 280,000 VND. They also serve excellent wine and cocktails. The service is perfect nothing to complain about, they are very professional, paying attention to detail. This is the perfect place for a Friday dinner with friends.

TOMATITO

Located on 171 Calmette street, it was previously named Cafe-Restaurant. Indeed, Tomatito is the name of a Spanish Flamenco guitarist, but it is also the name a Tapas Spanish restaurant chain. A restaurant’s concept casual and colorful, Tomatito Saigon is one of the kind in Saigon. The place looks kind of fancy but believe it or not, prices are not that expensive. Upon arrival, they will warm welcome you with a glass of their home-made Sangria. Their menu offers a large choice of hot and cold tapas, for small and bigger bites. You can share a plate a of cold cuts with chorizo and other Spanish ham. Their Gazpacho is delicious. Their Salmon truffled toast is (how they say) an amazing explosion of flavours, one piece one bite, to fully enjoy the experience. Count between 150,000 to 250,000 VND a dish.

Ria – Sangria & Tapas is located above Blanchy’s Bar. The place is quiet fancy, mainly indoor with a balcony. The table are small so it is not easy if you order many dishes. You can try the grilled shrimps, the beef balls and the goat cheese with truffle oil. You have different kind of sangrias, with red, rosé or white wine.
